122′ Monte Fino Tri-Deck receives rave reviews

We have just successfully completed the ocean sea trial for the first Monte Fino 122’ custom yacht, the biggest and first Tri-Deck Monte Fino ever built.

The Monte Fino 122 is a 122 ft (37.19 m) semi-displacement vessel with composite hull and superstructure.  The exterior profile is designed with the involvement of Ed Dubois while the structure, propulsion and system engineering is by Kha Shing’s in-house engineering team.  The interior design is based upon the preliminary design from Dick Young Designs with customization from the owner and his crews’ needs as well as experiences aboard their first Monte Fino yacht.

The main deck level contains a master stateroom forward, large galley with lounge area for owner and/or crew, a dining area and a large salon / living area.  Below decks are four large en suite guest staterooms with access from the interior spiral stairway.   From the main deck galley, there is an independent stairway for accessing Captain, Crew cabins, Crew lounge and enclosed laundry room.  From this galley, captain and crew members can also access the Pilot House and exterior deck from an exterior stairway without interrupting guests onboard.  Guests can access the yacht from the automatic sliding door at aft deck or the STBD foyer.  The upper deck includes the pilot house forward and a large sky lounge with bar, a large HD television and hidden projector and screen for movies.  A large Jacuzzi tub with sun bed and seats are incorporated forward of the pilot house.

The engine room houses two Caterpillar C32 1652 bHP engines, providing a top speed of 17.5 knots.  Two Onan 65 kW generators with sound shield and shore power converter are fitted with integrated seamless power transfer.  Some other key features of this yacht include noise vibration and insulation engineered by Van Cappallen Consultancy (VCC), stabilization at anchor, hidden anchor pocket, customized hydraulic swimming ladder, tender garage with independent hydraulic access door, plus many more features.

The first 122’ Monte Fino custom yacht is built to Bureau Veritas classification and complies with Australian NSW Maritime USL codes.
